"Hands for Meyer": An Evening of Fine Food and Solidarity at Castello di Spaltenna
On Monday, August 31, from 7:30 p.m., Castello di Spaltenna will host "Hands for Meyer", a charity event celebrating the excellence of the local area while supporting the children and families of Meyer Ospedale Pediatrico Meyer. Held under the patronage of the Comune di Gaiole in Chianti, the event will bring together more than twenty leading figures from Italy's fine dining scene, alongside master pastry chefs, artisan bakers, mixology professionals, and local producers.
The culinary team will be led by Antonio Iacoviello, Executive Chef of Il Pievano, joined by renowned chefs including Cristiano Tomei, Gaetano Trovato, Vito Mollica, Roy Caceres, Paolo Barrale, Giuseppe Biuso, Claudio Mengoni, Simone Caponnetto, and many others.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Fondazione Ospedale Pediatrico Meyer, to support projects dedicated to the care, research, and hospitality provided to young patients and their families.
